Job Description

Legal Managed Services is an exciting global business line for Thomson Reuters Legal. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge, dynamic organization created specifically to meet the growing challenges faced by legal and compliance professionals working at the most prominent corporations, law firms and government agencies in the world. The position sought is a Project Manager, reporting to the Director - Project Management Office for Business Operations, Legal Managed Services.


  • Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization
  • Works on the transition toolkit to devise a standard transition approach for large engagements
  • Adherence to the transition framework and governance
  • Communication Management
  • Set up of new delivery centers, working on designing and implementing new processes at these delivery centers
  • Develop project plans and project management of new initiatives/new engagements
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures as a part of the project governance
  • Plan and conduct regular engagement level business reviews
  • Risk identification and mitigation planning
  • Resource forecasting, project planning and base lining signoff
  • Develop schedules, project budget and track to engagement objectives
  • Monitor order to cash process
  • Devise project plans, track milestones, identify risks and present mitigation plans to the stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder communication
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Facilitates team and client meetings effectively
  • Cross-functional collaboration with business partners including facilities, IT and security


  • Hands on experience on project transitions from client site to the delivery center

  • 8 - 10 years of experience in project/programme management
  • PMP certified candidates will be highly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to design and document processes (Preferably in MS Visio)
  • Good Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Hands on experience of making project plan in MS - Project or similar tools


  • Candidate must have the knowledge of devising MS-Project plans and should be proficient in MS-office
  • Strong data analysis skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
