DUTIES & DESCRIPTION:
Lead/manage the new Air Force launch vehicle entrant certification team (NECT) by providing strategic oversight/support regarding all aspects of certification. Project manager must have launch vehicle experience. Will ensure NECT activity meets government requirements and day-to-day needs. Oversee NECT deliverables and resources. Attend weekly/bi-weekly meetings (briefing to SMC/CC) and major reviews, including CCBs, ERBs/design reviews, ChERBs, etc. to provide strategic perspective. Ensure timely and seamless cross-communication and enterprise integration of NECT activities across all locations. Assist government in responding to taskers with varying complexity. Preform all task order management functions as direct liaison to the government COR and management.
10 years of leadership/management experiencerequired and BS/BA. MA/MS/MBA plus 8years preferred. Expertise managing programs with schedule, cost, technical objectives. Specialized expertise in launch vehicle spacecraft design, integration, and launch operations. Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA Certificate desired. EDUCATION:
