The Project Manager will be responsible for leading IT modernization, cloud, and/or cybersecurity projects for federal agency customers. Our near-term openings are located in Washington, DC. Selectees must be willing to travel to other locations as duties and customers require.
-Drive complex technology projects and programs to achieve targeted and measured business goals and key objectives.
-Manage all project activity, risks, opportunities, and progress to ensure project goals are achieved (e.g., deadline, scope, budget, quality, vendor dependency, security). Develops and documents mitigation and resolution strategies as needed. Communicate issues to the right stakeholders in a timely and appropriate manner.
-Use judgement and interpersonal skills to effectively work with prime and sub-contracting entities, agency clients, and other stakeholders as needed to meet project goals and ensure on-time deliverables.
-Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure all project targets and requirements are met.
-Conduct project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project's acceptance. Hand over documentation and ongoing activities to client and complete post-implementation reviews to identify areas of improvement.
-Demonstrate expertise in managing and influencing people and process to produce desired outcomes.
-Facilitate meetings and coordinates teams in different locations, different time zones, etc.
-Prepare status and contract-driven reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information related to schedule, budget, or scope.
-You will be expected to perform additional job duties as needed to support the customer and company.
-Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience managing IT projects.
-Desired qualifications: PMP certification preferred and Background in federal consulting preferred.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to develop reports, recommendations, proposals, presentations, and other critical documentation for federal leaders.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stakeholders and projects concurrently.
-Strong organizational and time-management skills.
