The Water Resources and Infrastructure division of Louis Berger has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to be a part of our Las Vegas Civil Engineering Group. The successful individual will lead a team of talented professionals delivering water resource and renewable energy projects within the area.


  • Manage engineering activities for all phases of an assigned project
  • Use experience and engineering judgment to lead regional flood control, water, sewer and/or site development projects.
  • Assure that engineering services are provided in accordance with professional standards, client requirements, budget control, schedule control, cost engineering/control, quality control and project objectives
  • Provide oversight to design team for various tasks within the scope of a project including training and supervising project team
  • Coordination with clients and project stakeholders
  • Support efforts in proposal development, project scoping as well as with client relationship development
  • Develop and mentor technical teams


Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program

· Ten (10) years of related experience in the design and management of engineering activities for water resource and/or development projects

· Proven success in leading staff and delivering various types of water resource and/or development projects

· Nevada PE registration, or ability to receive within 6 months

· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work within a team environment

· Business development experience

· Desire to be a leader, mentor, and coach

· Working knowledge and experience in delivering projects in both AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience working in Nevada, especially with clients in southern Nevada

· Proven ability to build and lead high performance teams
