Primary office is in Farmington, CT. Depending on the project, travel will be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must possess at least a BS in Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related field and at least 5 years of supervisory construction industry experience
  • Depending upon the project size, scope, and complexity, the years of experiencerequired may vary
  • Some knowledge of MEP experience needed
  • Retail and/or commercial project experience between 3-5M, a must.
  • For the immediate position, must at least be experienced in projects 5 M and under.
  • And be good with technology, because we use BIM 360, MS Office Suite, including MS Project, Viewpoint, CIS or similar applications.

Whether working on a large project or multiple smaller-scale projects, you’ll have:

Complete management responsibility from inception to completion and closeout. Primary responsibility for ensuring the timely completions of projects, consistent with quality standards, and to continue the development of the organization and people under direct supervision as well as keeping the VPs of Field Operations advised on all field matters.

The Project Manager is accountable to the supervision and direction of the activities of all field personnel on assigned construction projects. Other duties include: Assist in bid to secure projects; Review & become familiar with owner contracts & moderate kick-off meetings; Provide relevant information to Accounting, including budget summary & schedule of values; Perform complete job buyout, including drafting of subcontracts; On-going communication with clients, subcontractors & suppliers; Reviews of daily reports & job meeting minutes from Project Superintendents; Prepare C.P.M bar charts, work schedules, cash flowschedules, & enforce, monitor, & updateschedules; Control all project costs; Resolve claims for extras and/or credits with owner, subcontractors & material suppliers; and Perform complete job buy out.
