Manage significant, enterprise-wide projects, typically with large budgets and sizeable staff, leading the design, testing, planning, and implementation of complex projects for systems that typically affect many users.
Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with business owners, project sponsors, and key clients.
Creates and maintains the project management plan ensuring PM methodology is adhered to.
Develops, and continually updates, project plans and schedules.
Develops work breakdown structures based on the project objectives and scope.
Identifies any potential project predecessors.
Works with the Business Analysts and Project Team, Resource Managers, Sponsors and Owners in order to define/refine the project scope.
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project lifecycle and ensure project timelines, business milestones and project deliverables are met.
Facilitates the gathering of information required for the level of effort analysis to estimate project cost, resources, time and deliverables.
Negotiates conflicts and resolves issues that arise during this process.
Develops/updates charter to be submitted for approval.
Determines staffing requirements and forms project teams.
Develops budget requests for resources.
Works with resource managers in order to effectively align resources across projects.
Provides work direction and leadership to assigned programs, including scheduling, assignment of work and review of individual project efforts.
Assist with identifying which resources need to be procured outside the organization.
Describe technical or other issues that need to be considered and assist in the development of SOWs.
Identifies the elements of risk in a project.
Analyzes and prioritizes this risk and assesses its potential project impact.
Develops and maintains risk plans, processes and systems in order to mitigate such risk, with assistance.
Creates action plan for risk that occur and follows through on plan.
Conducts project kickoff meetings, communicating individual roles and project expectations.
Ensures that all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively.

Leads program kickoff meetings.
Ensures RIDAC documentation is up to date.
Utilizes various tools and techniques for estimating costs associated with a project including physical, financial, and human capital costs.
Develops a detailed cost baseline from cost estimations.
Refines project cost estimates.
Continuously monitors the actual cost of a project versus the budget
Reviews bills and evaluates factors that may potentially cause cost changes.
Conducts in-depth root cause analysis of project budget discrepancies.
Monitors the project identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews; and escalating scope, budget, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
Keeps management aware of the situation.
Formulates recovery plans or assessing impact if not recoverable and escalates as appropriate.
Identifies program related problems.

Bachelor’s degree in an information technology-related discipline preferred; an equivalent level of experience or combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Must be able to effectively manage several projects simultaneously.
At least 7-9 years of project management experiencerequired.
5-6 years project management in an IT environment preferred.
Atleast part of 2 Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence implementations interfacing with business and technical teams as part of big data related programs
Gaming and/or Hospitality experience a plus.
