In this role, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with product owners, business stakeholders, team members, and other development teams to define project goals, gather metrics and execute on deliverables. You will gain knowledge about the NAST division while working with people throughout IT in a cooperative manner to successfully complete projects.
What will you be doing?
Work closely with the Divisional and IT Stakeholders to define project deliverables and lead project planning efforts
Gather and communicate project and Agile metrics that will drive resourcing decisions and efficiency
Collaborate closely with BA, Managers, GM and other key development teams
Assist in defining project scope, goals and deliverables
Work with the team(s) to identify, mitigate and escalate project risks
Facilitate conflict resolution and help remove impediments
Coordinate and communicate necessary changes for team to be efficient, effective and work with a sense of urgency
Foster teamwork and trust
Monitor and radiate appropriate information regarding project progress
Coordinate and communicate with other teams on cross-team activities
Accountable for deployment activities: releasescheduling, end-user communication, etc.
Facilitate team meetings and ceremonies
Work with business technology liaisons to coordinate training and rollout plans
What are we looking for?
At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager delivering information technology solutions
Strong facilitator; adept at running small to large meetings
Proven track record of effectively delivering results in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities
Excellent organizational, leadership, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Proactive, accountable, collaborative, and solutions oriented
Must exhibit excellent written and verbal skills, and be able to effectively radiate project information
Demonstrated success at fostering effective teams
Willingness to working in a learning culture
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
