Our North American Commercial Operations, as well as our Headquarters and Technology Center for Hemostasis and Acute Care Diagnostics, are based in Bedford, MA. Our Headquarters and Technology Center for Autoimmunity Diagnostics is based in San Diego, CA. Additionally, our Technology Center for Hemostasis and Blood Gas Reagents is in Orangeburg, NY, and our Technology Center for Whole Blood Hemostasis is in San Diego, CA.
Plan and manage small to mid-size product development projects or plan and manage a major sub-project within a large multi-functional product development program. The position requires, enthusiastic leadership skills in a highly technical medical instrument product development environment. The individual is required to lead strong technical engineers and scientists to achieve project goals. The position requires regular interaction with project team members and senior management including regularly interface with all levels of the organization from technician through executive management. Under the general direction of a Program Management, this individual directs the project team in a manner to achieve the business results expected. He or she seeks guidance on unusual and complex problems whose solution exceeds the approved project boundaries. Authority of position is that required to carry out assigned duties, except where expressly reserved by the senior management personnel or Werfen Corporate /Divisional Policy.
We are seeking a PM to work with the reagent analytical and clinical teams, and regulatory to coordinate and manage the instrument preparations and qualifications,
sample and reagent supply, assay pre-verification, verification, trials, and regulatory submissions.
Ideal candidate is a PM with experience leading cross functional teams in the medical device reagent development environment. Demonstrated success having led assays
through this V&V process to successful launch is preferred. Required PM skills include work breakdowns definition, planning development activities, scheduling, definition
and management of interdependencies, risks, agile scrum practices to help drive progress, progress tracking and reporting per plan (Jira and other).
This person will need to communicate well, lead, and work with technical teams and leadership to ensure plan completeness, visibility, and tracking/reporting progress to plans.
