Our core competencies include systems engineering, program and project management, logistics, information technology and cyber security, and software development services. We understand and provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.
As a Project Manager, the individual will serve as a project lead over several programs reporting to the Level 2 CNI IPT lead. The individual provides acquisition management, program management and risk management support for the CNI IPT lead. The individual shall be familiar with the DoD acquisition process and the PPBE & PPBS process. Duties of the position include:
-Manage cost, schedule, performance, risk and other programmatic aspects of the CNI IPT in order to satisfy program requirements and meet the expectations of program sponsors. This includes continual assessment of program risk and opportunities in order to reduce cost and schedule growth pressures and realize efficiencies as early as possible.
-Draft Statements of Work and review and evaluate industry proposals, draft contract actions to execute program in accordance with the DoD 5000.
-Develop detailed plans and track execution. Track cost/schedule/performance metrics as well as track progress toward achieving agreed program objectives.
-Provide program status and briefings to program leadership.
-Lead a multi-disciplined team, implement team goals and objectives, provide leadership direction and decision making, and identify areas for improvement when appropriate.
-Liaison with other organizations to ensure program opportunities are realized as early as possible.
Minimum Educational Requirement: BS or BA degree. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience; OR an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Minimum Experience Requirement: At least six (6) years' experience in large and complex problems associated to major weapons systems. Demonstrate experience in cost/benefit analysis, quality control, successful completion of critical path events and project tracking. Familiarity with SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD forms related to PPBS and Contract Data Requirements List is required. Experience with Military Interdepartmental Procurement Requests, Work requests, Requisitions, and DD 254s are desired.
