This Finance Global Optimization Project Manager role is an opportunity to work for the world’s leading provider of online travel & related services.

The role will report directly to the Finance Global Optimization Director and will be based in Norwalk, CT. The company is ideally looking for someone who has experience working in a fast growth, innovative environment. In this role they will be required to work cross functionally with the C-level Brand executives and board to help with the strategic growth of the business. The Finance Global Optimization Project Manager will support the company’s Brands by evaluating and recommending improvements to business processes. As such, they will be capable of developing strong partnerships with senior business leaders and working in a highly collaborative way across a broad range of initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the value of ongoing process improvement, leveraging technology and will thrive in an evolving, fast-paced workplace. Qualified candidates will have meaningful experience working in e-commerce or with a multi-brand consumer-facing platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform analyses on end-to-end Finance processes and provide recommendations for optimization
  • Support development plans for key initiatives and organize detailed roadmaps for execution
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels
  • Work proactively with the Brands and IT to document Finance impacts, business requirements, process changes, implementation plans, etc. for projects
  • Understand the status across all projects and identify issues to escalate
  • Work with stakeholders across the company to collect input and share results of finance projects
  • Prepare presentations and present findings to senior management, make recommendations based on analysis and trends
  • Provide training to support adoption of initiatives
  • Develop and report on select KPIs to monitor the Finance Global Optimization progress
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses at the request of senior executives
  • Support team members and establish healthy, collaborative relationships
  • Be the Finance Change Champion within the IT ecosystem

Education & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a global Finance or IT transformation role or relevant experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • PMP Certification desired
  • Experience in supporting cross-functional transformation initiatives or large scale IT systems implementations
  • Experience using Finance systems and reengineering end-to-end business processes (record-to-report, purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, plan-to-perform)
  • Experience with emerging technologies (RPA, AI, etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel
