They are now looking for a Project Manager Estimator to join their thriving team.

Position Summary

The Project Manager Estimator ensures the overall well-being of the organization by working directly with the Chief Estimator and Vice President. This is a high-level role requiring several years of both Project Management and Estimating experience. This role would entail bidding and estimating as well as coordinating and communicating job logistics and timelines.

Responsibilities

?     Track and manage progress of jobs via excel and other software (Primavera, SureTrack, etc.)

?     Forecast cost of jobs by managing budgets and trade orders.

?     Problem-solve in real time any complications that arise with projects.

?     Work directly with CFO to consult regarding financial allocation.

?     Independently conduct public-sector estimates.

?     Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logs

Qualifications Sought

?     5-10 years?experience as Civil Construction Project Manager.

?     5-10 years?experience as Civil Construction Project Engineer.

?     Estimating experience in one of the following: public sector, heavy civil highway, paving, graving, or earth-moving.

?     Team player with honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic.

?     Highly-organized self-motivated individual who thrives in a team environment, while consistently performing on independent projects.

?     Cal-Trans or DOT experience is a plus.

?     Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or completion of Construction Management Certificate Program, or equivalent.

?     Field experience desirable.

?     Effective written and verbal English language communication skills.

?     Ability to use independent judgment; self-starting.

?     Drafting and computer skills desirable.

?     Team player with honestyy, integrity, and a strong work ethic.

?     Highly-organized self-motivated individual who thrives in a team environment, while consistently performing on independent projects.

Compensation

Compensation to commensurate with experience. Full benefits and incentives. Relocation stipend available, to be discussed.
