Description:This postition will report to the EPMO manager and act as PM lead for well-defined cross-functional implementation projects; both business and technical. It will provide all PM functions necessary to assure the project is planned, managed and completed on time and on budget including recommended adjustments to plan and resources as appropriate. May act as PM on larger, enterprise projects under direction of Sr. Strategic PM. Will act as PM consultant to division and departments across the enterprise in understanding and following organization PM standards and processes. And actively support the development, implementation and ongoing utilization of an enterprise Project Management Life-Cycle (PMLC). Build relationships accross areas and divisios to ensure high quality client experience.



Essential Responsibilities:


Act as PM lead for well- defined cross-functional implementation projects; both business and technical. Provide all PM functions necessary to assure project is managed and completed on time and on budget. Resource planning and project plan creation for workstreams under guidance of Senior Strategic Project Manager or independently on cross-functional projects.


Act as PM consultant and coach to division and departments across the enterprise in understanding and following organization PM standards and processes. Provide training or support in the use of standard project management tools.


Actively support the development, implementation and ongoing utilization of an enterprise Project Management Life-Cycle (PMLC)


Basic Qualifications:


Experience


Minimum three (3) years of experience managing cross-functional projects or IT projects.


Minimum three (3) years of project management experience and success in leading and delivering projects on time and on budget.


Minimum seven (7) years of general career experience.


Education


High School Diploma/GED.


License, Certification, Registration

Additional Requirements:



Complete understanding and use of PM tools and methodologies.


Demonstrates ability to manage projects within tight time, cost and quality targets.


Demonstrates strong detailed planning, risks management, timeline and cost management.


Understand lean principles and tools.


Strong organization skills and ability to identify problems, research solutions and reduce impacts to work.


Good presentation skills and able to teach and coach staff in other divisions and departments in the standard PM tools and methodologies.




Preferred Qualifications:


Four (4) years of health care career experience


Five (5) years of project management experience and success in leading and delivering projects on time and on budget in a health care setting.


Five (5) years of experience managing cross-functional or IT projects in health care setting.


Bachelor's degree in a health care, business, or a related field.


Project Management Professional (PMP) certification by date of hire/transfer.


Effective communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization.


Strong facilitation and presentation skills.


Use of Lean tools.
