Job Description:

  • Great opportunity to work as a Digital Asset Manager! In this role, the candidate will use their vast experience to define and establish a Digital Asset Management System that supports the Client's Sports business. 

Responsibilities include, not limited to the following: 

  • Understand the contractual obligations between Client and parties 
  • Understand the IP usage rights granted to Client under thecontractual obligations 
  • Define and establish a Digital Asset Management System that supports Client Sports business and partner needs 
  • Partner with Client sister organizations to take into consideration Client policies and infrastructure requirements 
  • Manage the Digital Asset system and facilitate the uploading of assets 
  • Act as primary liaison between Client and 3rd party usage 
  • Promote, train and support all DAM users as needed 
  • Create workflow for the use of assets with DAM 
  • Utilize up-to-date DAM documentation provided by DAM tool owner 
  • Maintain consistency of folders, assets, naming, etc. 
  • Maintain metadata standards used within the organization. Responsible for assigning appropriate metadata for assets to ensure accurate usage rights 
  • Facilitates retrieval of previously cataloged images/shoots 
  • Archive assets as necessary 
  • Define an end of life asset life cycle strategy 
  • Generates asset download reports 
  • Listen, learn and adapt to changes in the business needs of the organization 
  • Review and test any configurations and/or customization for the DAM 
  • Be the biggest proponent, advocate and expert in DAM for your organization 
  • Maintain an active registry of DAM users and needed permissions working with DAM tool owner

Minimum education: 

  • BS/BA degree and 3+ years of experience in Digital Asset Management
