ManTech is currently seeking a Network Administrator to support a critical mission for a major Government Agency out of Southern, MD.
Candidate acts as the Deputy Project Manager and interfaces with government and contractor engineering and LSI Leads on technical and program/project issues. Candidate assists the Project Manager (PM) in overseeing personnel tasking and program/project operations by developing and reviewing procedures; assisting in the planning and directing execution of the technical; programmatic; maintenance and administrative support efforts; and monitoring and reporting progress. Assists the PM in managing program/project resources and monitoring task execution with respect to SOW tasking and contract requirements.
Candidate should possess a BS degree and six (6) years of professional experience in the Defense acquisition with at least four (4) years of direct management experience in support of Naval aviation projects. Ten (10) years of project/program management experience in direct support of Naval aviation projects may be substituted for a BS. DAU/DAWIA and/or PMI certifications a plus. Applicant must be knowledgeable of acquisition policies and procedures and demonstrate knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the DOD 5000 series. Must be able to work with large and diverse teams and effectively provide guidance, direction, supervision, and feedback in all areas of contracted effort to include program management, scheduling, systems engineering, test and evaluation, and logistics management.
Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience.
