DHA Group, Inc. is looking for a Technical Project Manager to support a dynamic customer in Washington DC. This position requires an active Top Secret Clearance with eligibility for SCI.
Qualified candidate will serve as the Government’s primary Project Manager (PM) to provide leadership and guidance to all contractor personnel assigned to the Task Order (TO). In limited capacity, the PM will also serve as the liaison between government client leaders, their respective Supervisory Information Technology Specialists (SITS) and government IT Specialists (ITS). This includes assigning tasks, working with each on special project assignments, and when needed, providing training and other related guidance to ensure mission accomplishment. The PM will be fully embedded on-site with the government managing 20+ engineers, program analysts and developers on an enterprise Mobility contract.
In the technical role, the PM will be involved in administering the services called out above along with implementation or new services and processes. The PM will also provide technical oversight with the Unit’s owned services and infrastructure. The PM may represent the government at technical collaboration and system formulation meetings, frequently presenting technical roadmap, standards and policies to peers and senior supervisors. The PM requires ability to listen to the government, effectively synthesize their tasks and effectively facilitating and implementing an action plan across cross-functional external teams.
The PM is ultimately responsible for the quality and efficiency of the task order. The PM shall manage subcontractor employees and interface with their respective company Account Managers. The PM shall have the ultimate authority to commit contractor’s organization and make decisions for the contractor’s organization in response to Government resource assignments, tasks, process improvement, best practice implementation, issues and concerns. The PM shall be readily available to respond to Government tasks, as well as proactively alert the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues. The PM will report to a DHA Director of Client Operations who will assist the PM with staffing, contract cost, invoicing, executive briefs and any other subjects needing escalation.
A customer focused attitude and ability to interface with all levels of the Government. ? Experience with performance-based management, manpower utilization, and supervision of employees (including subcontractors) on projects similar to the requirements of the TO ? Experience in managing integration across cross-functional technical teams. Ability to take a technical concept to reality. Core competence in managing, deploying and monitoring owned IT infrastructure. Experience with enterprise mobility solutions is strongly preferred? Ability to make program, business, and process changes; verifying performance improvements through metrics and over related measurement techniques. Practical IT change management experience. Ability to work with limited guidance. Ability to respond to the client in a clear and concise manner, whether in closed door session or in open forum. Experience working within an Agile environment. ? Minimum five years’ experience managing projects similar in size, scope, and complexity. Bachelor’s degree, in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
