Project Manager at Bed Bath & Beyond in Union, NJ

Bed Bath & Beyond is seeking a Project Manager to join the organization as a core team member of the ITSM team to focus on project initiation, execution and monitoring for various ServiceNow initiatives. This person will focus on project management, status reporting and taking ownership for the successful completion of multiple projects.Responsibilities

• Lead project management through agile framework; facilitate daily stand-up, grooming sessions, stakeholder’s prioritization, retrospective meetings
• Take ownership, execute and deliver projects on time and with quality
• Collaborate with key business and technology partners to generate ideas and execute key initiatives, owning timeline and holding stakeholders accountable to dates and results
• Project management for various projects, including but not limited to ServiceNow, Jira, Enterprise Portal & Applications and Collaboration technologies
• Gather project plan details from team and assemble into a project plan (sprint planning), develop and maintain the project plans, actively working out issues in the plan, maintain project status reports, risk management reports, and other management reports as required
• Maintain project tracking and coordinate Meetings/Workshops for the project team
• Update and maintain Jira and ServiceNow tickets
• Assist with business analyst function as needed
• Bring attention to detail and effectively communicate with technical & non-technical audiences
• Manage multiple projects across different teams and accomplish multiple priorities
• Work with on-shore/off-shore teams in a highly matrixed organization
• Foster an efficient working relationship across IT and business organizations

Required Skills/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with technology, management or computer science focus preferred
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Project Management role in Information Technology
• PMP and/or Scrum certification preferred
• Agile project management experience is highly desired
• Experience with ServiceNow and application development projects
• Experience with Cloud and Application migration projects
• Detailed understanding and experience with ITIL processes
• Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project, SharePoint
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio or similar tool for flow charts/process flows
• Retail domain preferred.
