Position Summary
Project Manager 3 is a third-level Professional & Administrative (P&A) professional who has ability, knowledge and skills for analyzing business processes and applications with the objective of improving and/or automating the work.
The position is responsible for planning and overseeing a portfolio of projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Position reports into the Project Management Office (PMO) for University Services.
Major Responsibilities
• Oversees high-priority projects that require large teams and high levels of functional integration.
• Manages complex and cross-functional teams, external vendors and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, and project requirements.
• Manages end to end process change projects including; current state analysis, future state process design, identifying the requirements for change, testing, documentation and implementation.
• Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to the project.
• Communicates with Organization executives regarding the status of specific projects.
• Assists project sponsors to establish project charters, formulate project scope and objectives
• Leads workshops for process redesign that involve eliciting process requirements and liaising with the project team members
• Educates business process owners responsible for managing and operating business processes
• Documents business requirements and creating detailed functional/technical maps
• Assists business to develop test plans and executing the test plans, documenting the metrics and results
• Prepares communications and presentations on system enhancements and help process owners deliver training to the users on the system and process functionalities
• Provides process and technical guidance to less experienced staff
Work Environment
The work is primarily performed on a large, urban University Campus.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
• BA/BS plus at least four years of experience, or master's degree plus at least two years of experience
• 2 years of work experience in the areas of business or systems analysis with a related degree
• 4 years of work experience in the areas of business or systems process analysis with a non-related degree
Preferred Qualifications
• Six Sigma Green Belt trained, PMI PMP trained
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects in a fast paced, multi stakeholder environment within scope, timeline, and budget
• Strong hands-on experience and understanding of project implementations, project structure (both formal and informal), project life-cycle, and best practice standards

• Able to effectively communicate with a broad range of partners and stakeholders

Pay and BenefitsPay Range: $100K-$105K ; depending on education/qualifications/experience
Time Appointment: 75%-100% Appointment
