Arcadis seeks an experienced project manager to provide leadership in client service and project delivery in the Baton Rouge, LA area. The candidate must have demonstrable experience leading multidisciplinary teams in performing investigation, remediation, and compliance projects at terminals, refineries, petrochemical plants, and other similar facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising junior staff and will contribute to new business development when possible by identifying, developing, and leveraging key relationships to expand the business. The candidate must display initiative, strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal skills, and commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities to include:
•Successful complete the Arcadis CPM training
•Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of environmental investigation, remediation, and compliance projects.
•Organize and direct internal staff and external subcontractors in accordance with project priorities, guidelines and contractual obligations.
•Lead the development of project proposals, plans, and reports.
•Review project financials; develop job setups, manage invoices, and administer subcontracts.
•Track and report project schedule and budget progress.
•Communicate with clients, project teams, and regulatory agencies.
•Some travel may be required for client and regulatory planning meetings
•Appropriate technical competency in environmental science, geology, engineering or another relevant field.
•Provide senior leadership for marketing opportunities by working with PICs and Market Sector Leaders
•Provide senior technical leadership on project work
•Exercises independent judgment and evaluation.
•Takes the lead in developing technical solutions.
•Assists in task scope definition.
