Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Project Manager for employment in the New York, NY office. 

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages major project efforts, requiring complex coordination across multiple systems and processes
  • Manage projects of varied size and complexity
  • Lead single and multi-disciplined projects as project manager/ task leader
  • Prepare and take responsibility for project engineering solutions
  • Communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas with peers and management team
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, are highly motivated and detail oriented with a strong background managing complex projects
  • Ability to manage and/or direct project staff
  • Must be proficient in AutoCad 2010 (or higher version) and Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Document and present work in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent technical and relationship building skills are required
  • Must be able to work well with clients, staff and consultants
