Job Description

Job Locations: Various Southern CA project sites

Provides overall administrative and technical management, from bid preparation to project completion, on water/wastewater, desalination, industrial, municipal or similar complex facility construction projects with revenue from $15?$50 million annually as applicable to market/region. Collaborates with Client Service Groups to develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients. Primary Responsibilities Facilitate staff development by serving as mentor and role model • Provide training, support, guidance, and assistance in goal setting • Act as mentor regarding safety to promote safety among peers and subordinates Through lower level project managers ensure project is built on schedule • Manage vendors and subcontractors • Manage design team during initial design phase; identify design problems and recommend improvements • Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on?site management and/or lower level project managers • Investigate potentially serious situations; implement corrective measures • Coordinate activities with other members of project team Oversee management of financial aspects of projects • Adherence to budget as work progresses • Subcontract negotiations • Procurement of equipment and materials; negotiation of purchase orders • Identify, estimate, quote and negotiate changes to contract • Invoice and time sheet approval Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards • Develop budgets and schedules • Establish staffing levels May develop or oversee development of proposals • Establish scope of work and resources required to successfully complete project • Direct complete estimate for project Develop/manage relationships with existing and prospective clients • Initiate new project development opportunities • Maintain continual open communications with clients • Represent company in project meetings Provide support to Executive Management upon request Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field or Project Management Professional certification with 15 years relevant experience or minimum 20 years relevant constructionexperience in lieu of degree. Extensive knowledge of industry practices, processes, design, fi
