Role Summary:

The Project Management Specialist for the Canada Area will be accountable for supporting the Canadian Project Mangers in the execution of services. Her/his accountability falls into areas such as Aero repair projects forecasts, logistics and shipments of Capital Assets (Engines/Capital Parts), and Flow Parts Transactions. He/she will partner with the CAN Area leader to provide region's repairs forecasts, prepare shipments' documentations, resolve customs and logistical challenges, and support parts forecasts, OTD, and financial related impacts.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role Project Management Specialist, you will:

  • Represent the main interface with customer when requested
  • Interact with GE tools, processes and organization in order to fulfill all Contract requirements
  • Assure that the planning and ERP tools are maintained continuously updated,
  • Identify areas of improvement to protect and enhance profitability of the deal, duly tracking the relevant changes
  • Be a key contributor in assuring the financial performance of the contracts, , including an participation to the Contribution Margin Review process (CMR)
  • Coordinate Field Service, Repair Service and part delivery activities to meet Contract obligation
  • Coordinate the reviewing of Customers fleets maintenance plan in the related tools
  • Track and report repairs projects forecast for the overall Canada Area
  • Collaborate with shops and repair networks to coordinate allocations of repair slots
  • Participate in weekly repairs forecasts calls with the TPS repair network to report and address Canada Area repair projects
  • Analyze deliveries and provide financial inputs for regional QMI forecasting and customer fulfillment for the corresponding area. Ensure P&T adoption, continuous operating rhythm with CAN CSM & CPM team and COE and align with his/her team on customer priorities and escalation as needed
  • Partner with Area Leaders and other functions across Services organization in the region, and with COE, to anticipate commercial or operational strategies to meet customer contractual demands while safeguarding BHGE revenue and margin
  • In agreement with the CAN team, become the focal point for all logistical activities – including documentation - between BHGE & customers
  • Provide periodic reporting on Field Service, Repair Service and part delivery to project managers and to customers
  • Become familiar with existing commercial agreements across portfolio and the implications of delivering repairs and parts on time
  • SR material pre-shipment setup, material tracking, import, clearing, transportation, delivery, POD transmission and filing


  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Business or related areas from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED with minimum 9 years of experience in customer service and/or operations within Oil & Gas or Energy industry)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service and/or operations within Oil & Gas or Energy industry

Desired Characteristics:

  • Knowledge of contractual agreements and familiarity with customer base
  • Strong communicator, team player, and capable of managing several projects simultaneously through proper prioritization and escalation
  • Proficiency in Oracle and SAP
  • Demonstrated track record in prioritizations, planning, and ability to deliver multi-projects simultaneously.
  • Very Strong oral, written communications skills and ability to work among remote teams
