Job Description:

• Background: Client is looking for out-of-the-box thinkers to help us build and manage the Client. People who are smart, hard-working, and really want to help transform the way we do operations. What we do really matters to the business. This is a great opportunity for you to bring your technical skills and operations experience to life as part of a small team within a large organization. We operate with a lean startup mentality with the support of a large directional division. You will have the experience and expertise of the best network team in the world behind you as you help the team transform infrastructure, workload, and product through content delivery, mobility, and Client enabling of the Internet of Things.

What you will be doing:
• Implementation and execute strategies and programs aimed to simplify and improve infrastructure operations for the Client
• Create a unified vision of operations to align projects and goals to
• Create and maintain real-time project visibility across the Client 
• Determine project progress measurements and MVP for each project iteration
• Project planning in continuous flow fashion to minimize handoffs
• Responsible for effective communication out to 45 onsite support teams
• Site kick-off and training coordination for Client on-site teams
• Event coordination for Client Operations teams
• Reduce risk and improve operations speed through standardization and automation projects
• Work with legal to ensure training, tools and programs can be deployed across all Client teams on a global scale
• Build strong communication channels with internal stakeholders in various departments: stack, network, infrastructure build, IOC, datacenters
• Influence continuous improvement of projects through assessment of project delivery, gathering and reporting performance metrics, establishing corresponding targets, and measurement of on-going progress
• Identify and manage interdependencies between break/fix, alarming, auto remediation playbooks, platforms, services, and environments

What we are looking for:
• Highly collaborative individual who is able to coordinate across groups and project types
• Strong organization skills
• Able to assess priority levels from project goals and stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• MUST be hands-on and able to roll up their sleeves

Required:
• Technical project management experience 3 to 5 years
• Experience working in a devops environment
• Bachelor''s degree in business, engineering, communications or other related field
• Strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills

Recommended:
• Experience with Kanboard
• Working knowledge of gethub
• Financial, business case and operations review experience
• Openstack certification and understanding
• Certified Scrum Master
