Identifies, defines, and documents requirements for software implementations and manages these undertakings from concept to deployment to ensure project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames. Ensures that project goals are accomplished through the use of the established project management methodology. Acts as the leader over implementations of our software products. Coordinates all resources both WRG and client for on time implementations of our software solutions. Acts as the single point of contact for the projects with our clients.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
Utilize project management skills in requirements gathering, documentation and analysis, risk assessment and mitigation, project planning and tracking, and conflict resolution
Responsible for project planning, estimation, risk management, project control and visibility
Manage project scope and drive the technical implementation through the lifecycle
Effectively manage client expectations
Anticipate and identify potential problems in the implementation and project plans
Coordinate and synchronize project development goals with complimentary projects
Deliver/rollout customized software to multiple client locations
Closely monitor schedules and resources to meet business objectives
Function as the main project liaison and central point of contact between WRG and the customer during the implementation process
Interact closely with the client to define the project parameters, statement of work and detailed project plan that incorporates specific milestones, tasks, sub-tasks and deadlines
Define and document the project/product software requirements
Maintain and communicate the project risks and contingency plans
Responsible for the coordination of efforts between programming, engineering and the customer
Responsible for the coordination of efforts between third-party vendors
Responsible for the management of customer relations and expectations
Document, communicate and resolve project/product related needs and issues for each project
Organize and facilitate project review and status meetings
Responsible for providing guidance as necessary to ensure compliance with specifications and high product quality delivery
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience may offset educational requirement.
Three years direct project managementexperience.
Working knowledge of the credit union industry and high service level expectations.
Overall understanding of Symitar a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Project and Project Server.
