  • Leading multi-disciplinary team of engineers through the design and product development process.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders; tracking specifications, statement of work and other critical information across a project lifecycle.
  • Actively participate in, contribute to and be supportive of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish & clearly communicate priorities and influence team members to recognize and act on priorities.

Education, Proficiencies & Experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree in STEM or equivalent; an MBA is a plus.
  • 8-10 years of post-college work experience; 5 plus years of experience in a technical project leadership role within a regulated manufacturing environment such as aerospace or medical
  • MS Project and related project planning tools experience; PMP certification is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to effectively advance multiple programs and development tasks while supporting project objectives of cost and timeline.
  • Tracking program progress with Earned Value KPIs; maintaining a project's status for the product development team.
  • Demonstrate sound decision-making skills, strategic thinking, communication skills and networking skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Possess a proven track record of project delivery, with a strong business profit orientation.
  • Critical problem solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to plan and direct the work of others without direct reporting authority: must be able to lead through influence and with integrity.
  • Effective articulating complex ideas and concept to leadership team; providing updates – ongoing and escalating issues when appropriate
  • Experience with ISO, FDA, customer and supplier audits.
  • Familiarity of inspection techniques and equipment.
