We are currently seeking a Project Engineer with a strong technical background to support the growth of our practice in the Baltimore Office’s Highway Group. Candidates must have excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills and have the ability to be highly responsive to clients. A candidate’s experience in, or a strong desire to develop oversight, mentorship, and staff management support skills is a bonus.
The Highway Engineering Group works on a variety of transportation related projects within the mid-Atlantic region (PA, MD, DE, VA) as well as nationally. The Highway Group participates in the development of roadway alignments, roadside evaluation and design, maintenance of traffic design, preparation of construction plans, specifications, cost estimates and the development of technical reports. Project assignments can range from small-scale intersection improvements to complex interchange and corridor projects. The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting Senior Project Engineers in a variety of tasks as well as managing projects.
