The successful candidate will work on a variety of interesting site investigation and remediation projects at industrial projects sites. This is a full-time, fixed term position for 1 year with possible renewal.
Support multi-disciplinary engineering design teams for soil and groundwater remediation projects
Preparation of contract/design drawings, project specifications and bid documents for remediation treatment systems
Coordinate and conduct oversight activities for projects, including construction oversight/management and operation of treatment systems
Coordinate and implement field pilot tests and remedial systems for various remediation technologies
Communicate with regulatory agents and clients regarding project activities.
Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments
Assist in ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local regulations
Construction and environmental permitting
Task planning and coordination
Data compilation and analysis
Technical writing; work plans and reports
Bachelors in civil, chemical, environmental or geological engineering required
15 years of experience. Must have a willingness/interest in field assignments.
40-hour HAZWOPER training preferred, but not required
PE certification preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus
Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed
