Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Supervising and ensuring all losses are managed from initial contact with client through completion
  • Maintaining a high commitment to ensuring 100% customer satisfaction
  • Acting as 1st line of response, responding in a timely manner on all losses or projects
  • Effectively estimating and presenting proposal for all losses
  • Accurately writing up scope of repair and recommendation to adjuster
  • Professionally identifying and communicating all change orders, supplements and code upgrades
  • Accurately tracking and documenting loss and restoration project workflows
  • Fully responsible for ensuring all projects maintain the proper level of staffing and equipment
  • Providing weekly and monthly reporting of sales numbers, current projects, pending projects and account receivables
  • Effectively communicating, supporting and working with Interstate team including National, Business Developers, Project Managers, Superintendents and all other staff on all loss projects
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with insurance adjusters, property managers, property owners, industry related associations and other potential business sources
  • Developing and maintaining a positive working relationship with Interstate Team, Insurance or Property contacts and all customers to continually improve Interstate Restoration's standing in the community
  • Effectively developing rapport and managing all communication/negotiations between customers and adjusters
  • Providing consistent feedback to General Manager concerning Sales, Operations, and Personnel
  • Meeting with General Manager monthly to discuss results, communicate feedback, develop action plans, and evaluate overall performance
  • Providing feedback and communicating constantly with supervisor and Interstate team to ensure clear expectations and maximum productivity
  • Participating in all conference calls or meetings scheduled by Interstate or your supervisor
  • Actively participating in and managing all collection efforts
  • Assisting in the training of new or current employees as directed by your supervisor
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding all revenue expectations outlined by Interstate
  • Performing and leading training meetings or classes as needed
  • Ensuring compliance of losses with all state and federal laws
  • Ensuring minimum accepted sales levels, duties and responsibilities are met or exceeded
  • Maintaining a high level of expertise in restoration losses including contents, drying, carpet, paint, drywall and mold
  • Actively marketing Interstate through associations, meetings, local functions and trade shows
  • Developing and executing new marketing strategies for company growth
  • Pursuing and responding to all client calls and sales leads in a timely manner
  • Identifying and developing key partner strategies for specific market segments
  • Providing projection reports on individual loss sales and growth opportunities in market

 Requirements:

  • Must be able to walk all job sites including adverse conditions that may result from losses
  • Must be proficient with Xactimate. Other loss estimation software a plus.
  • Possess and in-depth knowledge of actual construction costs
  • Prior experience and proficiency in large loss and commercial claims
  • Prior experience in the development and presentation of scope/repair estimates
  • Prior experience in developing new marketing strategies and executing on sales leads
  • Must be a rapid learner and ability to adjust to change or new situations quickly
  • Demonstrate efficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as use of PDA's
  • Available on short notice and during all designated work hours including being on call at all times in order to respond to emergency losses. Extended work hours weekly and on weekends as needed.
  • Able and willing to travel to other cities or regions as needed to assist with other corporate losses and/or trainings
  • Self-motivation and management is critical
  • Must demonstrate and maintain a high level of integrity, business ethics, and sound judgment
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds unaided and move throughout worksites
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and using ladders to access rooftops
