Job Description

Accountable for the project management process and project management deliverables, for assigned projects

Ensures 100% compliance to TDBFG project management methodology by ensuring that recognized project management processes, discipline

and controls are consistently applied to projects

Negotiates and issues project documentation as agreed to by the Project Sponsor and involved Stakeholders

Identifies all project dependencies and risks, ensuring that they are effectively managed

Ensures mitigation/contingency plans are in place for identified risks

Executes project management deliverables within budget and as per the approved project plan, working with business partners to develop the

content of those deliverables

Controls change to project scope through accepted change management processes and documentation

Investigates, escalates and ensures that all project issues are effectively resolved

Ensures all team members understand the Readiness process and facilitates Readiness sessions

Manages all communication to key stakeholders, including the Project Sponsor, Business Project Owner and IMO Program Director, and

ensures they are aware of significant changes to the project status in a timely manner

Provides advice and guidance to business partners as required regarding best practices in project management

Develops an understanding of the technical/business aspects of the project in order to effectively manage the project and resources

DEVELOP PEOPLE/TEAMWORK

Provides project management coaching and overall team leadership for project team members, and may be required to provide regular input

into team members’ assessment of performance

Prioritizes and manages own workload and the workload of project team members in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines

Effectively manages project resources and external contractors/consultants in coordination of competing priorities

Negotiates with business partners for skilled resources

Manages client relationships as they pertain to projects assigned and deals with individuals at all levels of the organization

Requirements

Typically manages Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 projects, as defined by the IMOStandard level of previous experience is 5years as a project manager

Completion of 50 Qualifying Trainin Hours (Training Hrs)*

Should have successfully completed courses in scheduling, project riskmanagement, leadership and human resources

Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred

May oversee Project Managers, professional staff, vendors and/or\\ consultants
