Applied Insight (AI) is seeking a Project Controller in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

The Project Controller will facilitate the project reporting of the organization. Activities will include collecting project statuses in the appropriate reporting tools, guiding project managers through project life cycle documentation and decision gate requirements, and developing this documentation, as necessary. This individual will work with project managers to develop project schedules, and track actuals against the baseline. This individual will also assist with validation and analysis of projects against organizational metrics.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of Project Administration/Control experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project
    • Schedule Development
    • Schedule Maintenance
    • Resource Allocation and Management
  • Very strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with standard project documentation
  • Strong writing skills
  • Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
  • Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Must be able to work across teams and with multiple projects

Preferred Skills:

  • PMI-SP Certification
  • Experience using Project Server
  • Experience executing EVM
