Tuvli seeks an experienced professional who has supported a variety of complex service projects. The Project Control Analyst III position participates in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. The Project Controller will work closely with Project Managers and functional or support organizations but should also be able to work independently and demonstrate initiative and critical thinking.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides general project control support: cost and variance analysis, funding and billing analysis, unbilled analysis, cleanup, At-Risk analysis, timecard and invoice corrections
Prepares appropriate Job Set Up documentation to process contract awards and modifications, developing appropriate
Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), including CLIN, SubCLIN, and ACRN levels
Assists with periodic financial close to ensure proper revenue, billing, cost, and profit values
Provides monthly financialreports to customers in accordance with contractual requirements
Maintains accrual and revenue adjustment records to ensure compliant backup documentation.
Manages contract closeout, including processing contract and subcontractor deobligations.
Analyzes projects to identify lagging costs and prepare accruals for finance team
Develops and maintains Estimates at Completion (EACs) for projects
Provides data and populates standard templates for internal program reviews
Prepares written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances
May assist manager with internal quality audits in support of ISO 9001:2008 and CMMI SVC-II quality standards and policies.
May implement Earned Value methodologies and perform related variance analyses
May provide schedule support for new business proposal development, providing input to the Management and Cost volumes of the proposal
Works closely with financial analyst to adhere to financial policies and procedures in support of projects
Uses discretion and judgment in handling sensitive, proprietary, and confidential material
Duties require initiative, knowledge, flexibility and judgment.
Must be a critical thinker and able to develop solutions of their own to solve problems
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Understanding of multiple contract types: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and hybrid contracts.
Comprehends and communicates complex or technical information at a level to solicit or explain it to a variety of levels within the organization. Able to effectively communicate this information through written correspondence and reports.
Requires CostPoint, Cognos, word processing and electronic spreadsheet skills. SharePoint skills a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
Minimum of ten years related experience
Ability to work well in a fast paced demanding environment with high expectations
Excellent organizational skills
