Project Chief Financial Officer - Division 2
The Project Chief Financial Officer position requires 90-100% travel. In this capacity, the project CFO serves as interim CFO for any one of the hospitals in a select region in the event the hospital is without a CFO or requires additional assistance on specific projects. The Project CFO could be responsible for all accounting, budgetary, audits, tax and financial planning activities within the hospital organization. As a member of the Hospital's senior management team, the Project CFO will participate in the financial and functional decision-making process necessary to the successful attainment of the hospital's mission in addition to maintaining an awareness of changes in healthcarefinancial matters that could have an impact on the financial success of the hospital. The Project CFO will oversee multiple departments within the hospital typically including but not limited to, business office, case management, materials management and accounting.
Division 2 includes the states of: Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution. (Master's degreepreferred and Intermediate and Cost Accounting classes preferred).
Experience: - Minimum 5 years financial/accounting progressive managerial experience in acute-care environment; for-profit experiencepreferred - Recent CFO experience highly preferred
Certifications: - CPApreferred
Abilities: - Must be proficient in written and verbal communication skills - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with hospital staff and community - Ability to maintain confidential information concerning personal, financial, or medical matters.
