Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the scheduling of high level strategic and tactical NIH meetings for the SBIR program
  • Facilitate meetings with Industry partners – biomedical start-ups, academic research institutions
  • Prepare meeting agendas, compose minutes, and track related action items
  • Keep the SBIR Director informed of progress, action items, and key decisions
  • Write and/or edit communications, presentations, marketing material, blogs, reports, announcements, and other materials to support the SBIR Director's objectives
  • Support in the design and coordinate of efficient mechanisms for information flow and/or streamlining processes related to the SBIR program support activities
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation in centralized repository
  • Support budget tracking and financial forecasting
  • Support project evaluation and monitoring activities
  • Data analysis relevant to project tasks - facilitate data collection and manipulation for visualizations and dashboard creation

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree or higher preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as project analyst, business analyst or similar role
  • Experience with the NIH and biomedical research preferred
  • 3+ years of experience managing project tasks – planning, budgeting, and monitoring strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and support multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Expert working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and WebEx platforms
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle priorities
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a Public Trust background security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information. US Citizens or Permanent Residents preferred.
