Program Research Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Provide government program managers and leadership with technical and programmatic support across a large and diverse research portfolio. Conduct studies, analyses, and literature reviews toward the development of new government research initiatives. Use outcomes of studies to assist government personnel with the structuring of new research programs. Provide assistance with the technical evaluation of proposed research, ensuring work is technically sound and sufficiently aligns with the organization’s research thrusts and overarching charter. Assess the technical performance of established programs and studies. Work with internal staff and government stakeholders to develop technical transition strategies for new and existing programs. Assist with the development of program documentation, including requests for information, solicitations for new research, technical reports, and briefs that convey technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of expertise.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with conducting technical research

-3+ years of experience with program management as a program or project manager or in a support role, including support contractor or task lead

-TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

-MA or MSdegree in Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Science, or Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently within a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment

-Ability to write concisely with persuasive speaking or writing expertise

-Ability to accurately convey technical and scientific issues to people with varying levels of expertise

-PhD degree in Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Science, or Engineering discipline preferred
