Mission Assurance (MA) has an opportunity for a Program Quality Engineering Associate Manager, supporting the Strategic Reentry Program portfolio, specifically responsible for the Advanced Strategic Programs area. In this role, the selected individual will be responsible for the leadership of a Program Quality Assurance team, including oversight of LM manufacturing and supply chain hardware for all programs within the portfolio. This role is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day QA functions and directly supporting the program management office. In this role you will be responsible for the following:
• Leadership duties require frequent internal and external customer interaction and require Full Spectrum Leadership qualities to manage these activities.
• Responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, assigning work and administering recognition & disciplinary actions.
• Lead all aspects of collaboration with Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and peer QA functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
• Supervises the internal and external audits of the quality system for deficiency identification and corrective actions.
• Supports program level Corrective Action Boards (CABs) and strategic projects.
• Actively engages and monitors team's workload throughput and performance.
• Responsible for supporting program business rhythm and providing QA related guidance.
Basic Qualifications
- Quality experience or equivalent in a test or production environment or manufacturing and/or supply chain environment
- Ability to work with discrepancy documents in SAP or other databases/ anything similar or root cause analyses methodologies
- Experience with quality or manufacturing engineering processes or policies and/or quality systems management requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills
- Must be a US Citizen
*Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
Desired skills
- Familiarity with special processes and controls.
- Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black belt certifications.
- Experience directly engaging with customers.
- 9+ years of professional experience with a bachelors degree; or 7+ years of professional experience with a Masters degree
• Demonstrated ability to drive strategic cross-functional projects
• Proven experience and/or certifications as a Quality Engineer
• Proven ability to manage Quality Assurance efforts in accordance with enterprise-level and Program specific requirements
• Understanding of AS9100 Quality System requirements and special process approval
• Experience with SAP (ERP) and EPDM (Configuration Management)
• Customer/DCMA focused behavior and problem-solving abilities
*Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
