Provide Engineering support to the Joint STARS program office, which is within the Battle Management Directorate at Hanscom AFB, MA.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in reviewing and writing technical documentation and reports.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated skill in using Microsoft Office tools for documentation and presentation creation.
Ability to clearly record and coordinate working group discussions, decisions and action items
Ability to research and document requirements back to DoD/USAF sources so that the program is using current guidance
(Desirable) Basic familiarity with the concepts of systems engineering, program protection within the Federal/DoD acquisition process, critical program information (CPI) identification, and critical component (CC) identification
(Desirable) More than two (2) years of experience in DoD/USAF acquisition
(Desirable) CompTIA Security+ (SY0-401) certification or similar certification
Travel to numerous CONUS locations and potentially overseas. Travel approximately 10 percent per month.
Collect and maintain existing program protection milestone documentation and artifacts.
Develop, review, update, and coordinate the approval of division program protection documentation, strategies and plans. This includes but is not restricted to the Program Protection Plan and its several appendices.
Request, analyze, and respond to program threat analysis reports.
Provide schedule coordination for program protection documentation.
Provide technical review for division documentation.
Proactively adjust program protection efforts to meet newly identified threats.
Review related Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submissions and coordinate feedback/comment including but not restricted to the Program Protection Implementation Plan (PPIP), various Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) key practices, Hardware/Firmware/Software development plans, Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages, cybersecurity boundaries and interfaces, counterfeit prevention plans and others.
Collaborate with and support program RMF and other cybersecurity efforts.
Provide organizational support to the SSWG, ensuring meetings are concise, productive and documented, as well as coordinating taskings and facilitating resolutions to program protection issues.
Proactively ensure that program protection efforts are applied appropriately throughout the life cycle; from concept through design, manufacture, test, delivery, sustainment and disposal.
Identify program protection risks, coordinate their documentation and mitigation.
Proactively keep division leadership informed of program protection risks and status.
