Lead a team of Architects, Technical Leads,Programmer Analysts, Business Analysts, and Quality Analysts that do the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of applications using Java, JSP, Servlets, Java Beans, HTML, UML, MVCarchitecture, IBM Websphere, and Oracle. Mentoring, coaching, and developing the human capital assets that perform the programming and analysis, write technical documents, and complete the technicalarchitecture planning and design. Engaging clients to understand their requirements, and then based on those needs position the resources appropriately to carry out the various activities such as requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation and support. Managing the resources for theduration of the client engagement and ensure that the clients receive world-class products from the company. Leading MFGPRO and AutoPRO implementation teams for automotive industry clients. Delivering the projects on time and within the allocatedbudget and use change management practices to manage project changes. Reporting progress to the Executive Steering Committee that sometimes includes members from the Senior Leadership Team. Discussingbudget variances and the technical reasons for the variances to justify and appropriate additional project costs when needed for the project. Mentoring and coaching the technical team that designs and creates servlets that act as an interface between the JSPs and Java Beans, and usingJDBC to communicate with OracleDatabase. Leading the implementation and maintenance efforts. Document project goals, status and outcomes asrequiredby project.
Requirements - Master's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business, Engineering or Mathematics and two years' experience in the job offered or two years' experience in the IT field. (In lieu of a Master's Degree, employer will accept a Bachelor's Degree and five years' experience).
Special Requirements - Experience in Java, Oracle, WebSphere, UML and MVC. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required.
