The Program Manager reports to the Vice President of Engineering & Digital Integration (VP EDI). The Program Manager provides leadership to a cross-functional team of engineers and staff executing technical programs in support of Department of Navy clients. The PM will oversee technical and programmatic progress on engineering projects to ensure solutions and products meet contract requirements. The PM is the primary interface with government stakeholders on assigned contracts and is responsible for managing the quality and schedule of deliverables to the customer. PM is also responsible for understanding and delivering against corporately established financial goals and objectives associated with the program. The PM is a major contributor to growth initiatives in support of Navy and other Government programs, through coordination with VP EDI and the Business Development staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
Position requires use of computers, productivity software tools, and phones.
Work is predominately performed in standard office space.
BS degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Physics or Math
PMP certification, a plus
Secret clearance required. Ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance is a plus.
5-8 years of Program Management experience (Navy PM experience a plus)
Strong leadership skills and ability to drive results
Strong ability to multi-task and to oversee multiple projects
Good interpersonal, communication and public presentation skills
Strong organizational skills. Maturity in managing a large group of individuals in a collaborative environment and in matrix team structure
Manages a department of up to 30- 40 employees through 5 direct reports.
