We are seeking a skilled and energetic Program Manager with a strong technical background to join our Electronic Systems team as we develop next generation high-performance test, training and simulation products for commercial and defense applications. This PM will be responsible for leading our flight line and Automated Test Equipment product lines and reports to the Program Director. This position is based at our Hunt Valley, Maryland location.

What You’d Do:

  • Responsible for the management, budget, and execution performance of the product line.

  • Primary interface with external customer(s) and may require coordination of program requirements with multiple subcontractors.

  • Develop, coordinate, and execute new and current program plans.

  • Establish cost controls and monitored adherence to contract requirements.

  • Develop, update and review Program status reports and lead Program Management Reviews for their product line.

  • Provide leadership and direction to a cross-functional program team and may supervise the work of Project Managers.

  • Maintains positive relationships with the external and internal customers.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ Years of project management or directly related experiencerequired.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field required. Master’s degreepreferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management practices, processes, and/or standards at all phases of a project lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to identify, manage, and mitigate risk.
  • Understanding of various hardware and software engineering technologies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of applicable military and commercial specifications and standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9000/14001.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the procurement or acquisition processes for primary customers and markets.
  • Must demonstrate experiencecollaborating withcontracts and supply chain.
  • Recognized leadership and team building skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to present to high level of management.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification or equivalent desired.
