Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Must have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse. Master’s degree in nursing, business administration or related field preferred. Provide and/or direct nursing care throughout the life span with consideration of the aging process, developmental and cultural patterns in each step of the nursing process.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Master’s in nursing, business or healthcare administration preferred. Cardiovascular certification preferred. Minimum of 5-10 years of nursing and administrative experience in cardiology required with demonstrated leadership. Knowledge of and compliance with RIDOH, Joint Commission, HIPPA, ACGME and other regulatory bodies and standards. Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
The Program Manager reports to the of the Cardiovascular Institute.
Primarily responsible for the planning, direction, and operation of the administrative and clinical aspects of the patient coordination component of the Structural Heart Clinic.
Directs and coordinates resources for the delivery of care to patients and their families. In collaboration with the MD and Advanced Practice Provider (APPs) provides consultative nursing direction impacting patient care including but not limited to, screening, education, and coordination of care from the initial patient visit through procedural recovery. Manages clinical education plans from strategic concept development through implementation and execution.
