PROJECT MANAGER - OFFICE OF WELL BEING
The Program Manager will work cooperatively with the JHM Office of Well Being and the JHUSOM Office of Faculty and provides high-level project management and coordination of project planning and assists in implementation of projects to improve faculty and staff work experience and wellness across Johns Hopkins Medicine entities. The position will coordinate internal work of JHM Office of Well Being related to wellness including assisting with budgeting and financial management and the development, tracking and reporting on strategic goals and objectives. The Program Manager will serve as a primary liaison with staff across Johns Hopkins Medicine entities leading employee wellness and systems initiatives to improve the employee work experience. The position will include collaboration with data analytics to facilitate research in the area of wellness including data management and preliminary analyses. The Program Manager will assist with internal and external dissemination through presentations on the JHM Wellness strategy. The position will include the development and delivery of toolkits for work culture transformation needed to support JHM Wellness Strategy. The Program Manager will assist with writing and development of peer-reviewed manuscripts on the JHM Wellness Strategy. In addition he/she will assist in the identification of wellness grant opportunities and serve as a liaison to investigators who could lead this work. When needed the program manager will support the writing of grant proposals related to wellness led by the JHM Office of Well Being.
Master’s degreerequired in related field (Public Health, Healthcare Administration, etc.)
Knowledge of burnout, wellness, human resources, project management and strategic planning is required. Knowledge of Quality Management and Planning and Administrative theory is preferred. Knowledge and experience related to project management and implementation of strategic initiatives. Experience with data analytics interpretation.
Position requires a high level of organizational skills to manage projects, timetables and implementations; advanced interpersonal skills to direct and coordinate the activities of multiple external departments, to positively communicate and work with professionals at all levels of the organization; analytical ability to develop and interpret data: excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires skill and experience in methods of improvement, theories of change, and current concepts of team-building. Technical knowledge of metric development, data collection and analysis is critical to success in this position. Prior experience developing education using adult-learning theory is preferred. Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and other desktop applications required.
D. Work Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management and/or project development/management preferably in employee wellness or human resources.
