The On-Site Program Manager of Network Operations and Services deals with a broad base of stakeholders, including customers, vendors, engineers, the entire technical team, other contract service providers. This individual is responsible for managing and coordinating Network Engineering, Network Operations Center (NOC), Service Desk, Field Services and the Tier 3 support team. The tasks that this position performs include:

  • Assures that the networking system runs effectively without interruption, and to assure that performance meets and exceeds SLAs
  • Participates in the change control review board
  • Manages the technical business processes (e.g. ITIL) of the organization
  • Manages a team of technical resources that are staffed 24x7x365
  • Overseas the development and deployment of innovative solutions in response to various networking and infrastructure support problems
  • Ensures that customer needs are properly defined and satisfactorily met
  • Stays abreast of new technologies emerging in the industry
  • Actively engages with customer leadership and key stakeholders
  • Prepares monthly reports and ensure all administrative billing and invoicing processes are properly administers


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Twelve (12) years of experience in a computer-related field
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance
  • Must have PMP and ITIL certifications
  • A working knowledge of network operating systems and related technologies
  • Five (5) years prior experience with managing a technical team and program management
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and must be able to provide superior customer service through their own actions and must be able to manage subordinates to provide superior customer service
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of the IT service management practices (e.g. ITIL).
  • Ten (10) years of experience in one or more of the following areas: data communications engineering; data communications hardware or software analysis; network and/or database administration or management; or data communication equipment installation and maintenance
  • A working knowledge of Cloud hosted services, Ethernet, VOIP and video technology, high speed WANs, routers, bridges, firewalls, etc
  • Technologies include Microsoft end-user tools and Servers, Oracle, Solarwinds, Netflow traffic analyzer etc
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands General office environment; may occasionally be required to lift up to 20lbs
