CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT
Responsible for site leadership, compliance, communication, and customer relationship with USCG as well as the oversight of all work performed. The Project Manager shall have documented experience successfully leading the performance of aviation heavy/depot maintenance for a large cargo multi mission, multi-engine fixed wing aircraft with management and supervision of depot level maintenance. U.S. Government experience is preferred. The Project Manager shall plan, organize, direct, and coordinate implementation of all contract support activities. The Project Manager shall interface with government personnel and act as the direct liaison with the Contracting Officer and on-site COR for all contractual performance requirements
Oversees the scheduling and execution of C-130H and C-130J PSI utilizing/applying EVM specifically SPI and CPI.
Coordinates activities with COR and KO within USCG planning schedule.
Coordinates and measures subcontractor compliance and performance to ensure all CDRLs to include warranty concerns are met.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 8 years aviation heavy/depot maintenance experience for a multi-engine fixed wing aircraft 4 of which must be in a Leadership and/or Management role OR Associate’s plus 10 years aviation heavy/depot maintenance experience for a multi-engine fixed wing aircraft 6 of which must be in a Leadership and/or Management role OR High School Diploma plus 12 years aviation heavy/depot experience for a multi-engine fixed wing aircraft, 8 of which must be in a Leadership and/or Management role.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in aircraft hangar environment. Must be able to climb/board aircraft. Must be able to bend, stoop, balance, kneel, crouch, reach, grasp. Must be able to walk for long distances moving from one work site to another. Must be able to work primarily with fingers such as for typing. Must be able to communicate effectively. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must be able to lift/maneuver up to 20 pounds. Must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects or small parts. Must be able to work in extreme heat. Will be subject to noise and hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat. Subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation. Must be able to work in narrow aisles or passageways.
