CSRA is seeking an experienced program manager with high performance computing experience for a large program associated with the development of an exascale computer for a Department of Energy National Laboratory located in Livermore, CA.

The Program Manager will direct all phases of the program from inception through completion, and will be responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of the program. He or she will participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes, and will coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, work breakdown structures, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of the contract.  The PM will act as the primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.  He/she will be responsible for establishing design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and testing.  The PM will establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.  The PM directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical and administrative areas and will oversee and coordinate a team of subcontractors whose performance is critical to the achievement of program objectives.


Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of full-time professional experience in Project Management.

Experience directing and coordinating the planning and execution of all contract activities on a large scale (more than $100M total contract value) high performance computing program, and in reviewing the work of subordinates, including subcontractors, to ensure that schedule, standards, and reporting responsibilities are met.  Experience working with or in a DOE National Laboratory is strongly preferred.

Ability to get Top Secret and DOE/Q clearances.


Project Management Professional® (PMP®) certification.
