Responsible for developing, planning, and managing implementation of activities for complex projects that are part of a large program and/or programs with broad scope, high impact and longer implementation time frames. Lead both the conversion as well as the business change required, while ensuring that day-to-day operations keep functioning flawlessly during the transition. Consult with sponsors, participants, stakeholders and customers to review proposals including goals, time frames, and funding limitations. Ensure that program goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. Develop and manage program budgets. Responsible for managing the program teams.


  • Work closely with internal business partners, including information technology and business sponsors regarding tax legislation

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners including tax revenue agencies, both Federal and State

  • Performs independent research, analysis, and planning of moderately complex federal and state tax issues

  • Develops written analysis of new taxlaw, rulings, and regulations for TTI, Government Relations, and otherinternal groups

  • Experience facilitating and presenting

  • Monitor and mitigate project/program risks

  • Ensure completion of program deliverables.

  • Work closely with cross functional teams, to accomplish project/program outcomes

  • Provide regular status updates to leadership teams


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Credential regulated under Circular 230 (Enrolled Agent, CPA, or Attorney).
  • A minimum of five years tax research experience

  • 2 years program management experience

  • Operational knowledge of taxlaw and regulations sufficient to understand and explain elements of personal, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, estate, gift, and international taxation.

  •  Knowledge of tax research principles, procedures and techniques.

  •  Demonstrated ability to effectively research moderately complex tax issues and effectively communicate findings in written and verbal form.

  •  Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group that includes a distributed work environment.

  •  Effective project management skills to complete assignments timely; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and manage effectively to meet timelines.

  •  Demonstrated critical conceptual and intellectual skills.

  •  Ability to use a systematic approach in solving problems through analysis and evaluation of alternative solutions.

  •  Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the company.
