Job Description

McKean’s engineers, developers, technical staff, programmers, analysts, and program managers identify and deploy new shipboard technologies, integrate information technology across shipboard platforms, and develop strategies to support the Warfighter. This position will manage a major system support contract for SEA21 lifecycle maintenance and modernization of all non-nuclear U.S. Navy in-service surface ships. Interface with NAVSEA customer to provide optimal support in all programmatic areas. Provide program support, including records management, strategic planning, communications, acquisition management and Business and Financial Management.

Required Skills

Substantial experience in the Navy or supporting the Navy; experience in Program Management

Required Experience

  • 20 or more years of experience in the Navy or supporting the Navy;
  • substantial experience in Financial Management;
  • 10 or more years of experience in Program Management;
  • 5 or more years of experience running a large Professional Support Services contract with multiple subcontractors and multiple program offices at a Navy Systems Command;
  • 5 or more years of experience working in a program office or PEO at a Navy Systems Command
  • Master’s Degree or higher; and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent, PMP equivalents include DAWIA Level III Certification in: (1) Program Management, (2) Production, Quality and Manufacturing, and (3) Contracting.
