Serve as the On-Site Program Manager for multiple functional teams performing procurement actions (described in Technical Directions) in support of multiple divisions within SED.
Serve as the Team DCS interface to the SED COR and technical lead(s).
Coordinate/interface with the SED COR and customers, including multiple DoD components, other Government agencies, industry, and educational partners, and FMS customers.
Coordinate/interface with other supporting activities and Army/DoD organizations involved with supporting software engineering functions.
Effectively manage a multi-contractor team, demonstrating cohesive performance and cooperation ensuring that the support provided is seamless from the customer's perspective.
Provide guidance and technical expertise in the areas of:
Resource Management Support
Program Management, Plans and Integration
Strategic Planning Analysis
Operations Research and Systems Analysis
Requirements Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum 15 years of experience. Examples of degrees (not all inclusive): General Business Degree, Management, Business Management, Information Systems Management, Operations Management, Computer Science.
Must possess a Secret clearance.
Relevant experience managing tasks related to Government Procurement.
Familiarity with, if not a working knowledge of, General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and elements of the Government purchase and waiver approval systems (including CHESS, ITAS, SONA, ITECS, GPC and CITES).
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be ready to adapt to quickly changing requirements.
Successful candidates will be highly motivated and team-oriented.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; exceptional skills in Excel.
Working knowledge of CHESS, ITECS, ITAS, SONAs, GPC and CITES.
