TRC Energy Services (TRC) is a nationally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC is seeking a program manager for the firms Woodbridge NJ office. This position is responsible for overall project management, monitoring the program operations, sharing program activity with clients and its stakeholders and conducting regularly scheduled meetings to discuss market conditions. TRC seeks a confident leader with relationship-building skills. Program management experience in commercial and industrial energy efficiency consulting environment is ideal for this opportunity.

Job Duties:

  • Overall responsibility for managing project execution, specific to C&I Energy Audit Programs
  • Manage and build client and stakeholder relationships
  • Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short and long- term goals
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track program progress
  • Oversee financial reporting and track budgets
  • Assist the client with ongoing stakeholder involvement and communications
  • Provide progress reports and other status updates to client and management as required
  • Analyze program implementation results and stakeholder feedback to strategize about the evolution of program design, outreach and implementation activities


  • Bachelors or Master's degree in related field with 8+ years related experience
  • Experience with Commercial and Industrial energy audit programs and processes
  • Ability to problem solve both customer issues and project issues
  • Experience working on energy audit and building retrofit initiatives, with an understanding of both the technical and financial components of these projects
  • Demonstrated ability to meet client goals, provide project leadership, manage multiple tasks and people, track project finances ensure timely and effective project delivery
  • Team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Travel as required
