OVERVIEW:

Serve as an expert in project management;  working, leading and delivering globally. Highly proficient in executing all aspects of a diverse, very complex information technology program, or multiple large-scale IT projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, communication and cost.  Demonstrate visioning and expertise across multiple methodologies and approaches with regard to the project lifecycle and the systems development lifecycle.  Work with business and technology partners to ensure delivery is on-time, on-budget, and on-scope.   RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build / Grow / Develop high-performance talent to support operational excellence
  • Lead PMO associates and external resources, serving as a role model to the teams
  • Serve as a change agent influencing business and technology partners to maintain focus and deliver projects on-time, within scope, and within budget
  • Understand and curate program risks to ensure corrective action is taken before problems occur
  • Employ project management best practices proactively and objectively (e.g. planning, scope management, risk/issue management, dependency management, capacity analysis, financial management, etc.); ensure that project plans are aggressive yet realistic
  • Connect dots and develop program governance, ARCI and operating direction without significant guidance
  • Drive the evolution of program methodology to improve efficiency and speed to delivery
  • Integrate efforts across multiple projects and functions
  • Manage tough conversations across teams and sponsors to lead programs to a successful outcome

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be curious about new ways of thinking and working, while exeuting with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated experience (12+ years of business experience) organizing, managing, and leading complex projects and global teams
  • Must have effectively managed a team of direct reports
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills; ability to build strong relationships and act with emphathy and humility
  • Must work well with others and be able to influence without authority
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and avoid problems before they occur
  • Listen to business parter and customer needs, take a systematic and holistic view of their environment, and consider future impacts when developing solutions or solving problems
  • Act as trusted advisor delivering solutions that drive business results 
  • Proven experience with multiple project management methodologies
  • Clearly and consistently communicate with all levels of the organization; express information, ideas, and recommendations accurately, succinctly and effectively
  • Ensure information is shared with the right people, at the right time, with the intended impact
