The Asset Strategy Team is responsible for the system-wide planning, design, construction and management of the Orlando Health real estate and facility portfolio. The team focuses on proactively aligning with and supporting the organization’s mission and strategic plan. By integrating the Planning, Real Estate, Interiors & Facilities Development, Corporate Engineering and Safety Teams, Asset Strategy serves as a platform to provide facilities and infrastructure for delivering best-in-class patient experiences consistently and competitively.

We are currently seeking a Program Manager who will collaboratewiththeAssetStrategyteams(RealEstate,FacilitiesDevelopment,InteriorsDevelopment,Engineering,andSafety)to supportsystem-widecampusandfacilityplanning,strategicacquisitionsanddevelopment, andotherspecialprojectsandinitiatives tofurthertheorganization’s mission.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate, Geography, Architecture or closely related field.

  • A master's degree in a relevant field may be considered as a substitute for two years of relevant experience.

Licensure/Certification

  • None required

  • AICP (American Institute Certified Planner) credential highly preferred

    Experience

    Seven(7)yearsofexperienceintheplanning,commercialrealestateorhealthcarerealestateindustriesincludingurbanplanning, architecture, development, project management, asset management, market research and analysis, site selection and financial analysis.

    Essential Functions

  • AssiststheDirectorofAssetStrategywithspecialprograms,projectsandresearchinitiativesasassigned.

  • ServesasanambassadorfortheAssetStrategyteamduringinteractionswithinternalandexternalcustomers.

  • Managescampusmasterplanningandareadevelopmentplanningactivities.Supportsplanningandcompliancerelatedtostate andlocalgovernmentzoningandgrowthmanagement planrequirements.

  • Supports implementation of the organization's strategicplan.

  • SupportstheDirectorofAssetStrategyandDirectorofRealEstatewithevaluationoftheorganization'srealestateassetsfor optimization and monetization opportunities. Further supports the implementation of the organization's strategic acquisition planandassistswiththeidentificationandevaluationof newacquisition opportunities.

  • Assists in the analysis of leases, acquisitions and dispositions for strategic projects as needed.

  • Managesduediligenceandpre-developmentactivities,conceptualdesign,planning,andpursuitofnecessaryentitlementsfor selectacquisitionsandstrategicdevelopmentprojects.

  • AssiststheDirectorofAssetStrategywithspecialprojectmanagement andprovidesimplementationsupportoftheplanned capitalprogram.

  • Supportsselectlargegroupspaceprogramminginitiativesasmerited.

  • ResponsibleforcreatinginformativeexecutivereportsfortheDirectorofAssetStrategy,onregularintervals.

  • Asrequested,interfaceswithrealestatecounselonrealestate-relatedlegalmatters.

  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with all customers, staff and physicians within the community.

  • Staysabreastoflocalandnationalrealestatedevelopmentsandtrendsincommercialrealestate,healthcare,competitor activities, consumer preferences, economic conditions, new technology and regulatory requirements to support the organization's strategicinitiatives.

  • Provides subject matter expertise as relates to planning, geography, market research, analytics andanalysis.
