Responsibilities

The Program Manager will support multiple business units involved in military space related activities and support the creation, shaping, and capture of a variety of different opportunities. Additional responsibilities include leading and supporting multi-disciplinary capture teams focused on developing responses to customer needs and specific proposal efforts. The Program Manager will also justify and defend bid and no-bid decisions to Draper senior management, lead proposal efforts including the development of work statements, schedules, budgets, and coordination/evaluation of proposal inputs from the engineering staff. The Program Manager will also manage talented, multidisciplinary, engineering teams to meet program schedule, cost, and technical objectives. TheProgram Manager will also be the principal customer and subcontractor interface for the programs and proposals managed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is an Engineer or Program Manager with a strong technical background who is prepared to shape, capture, and execute high-technology programs. The candidate should have at least 10 years ofprogram management, program shaping, and capture experience in positions of increasing responsibility: Demonstrated capture of complex opportunities to include customer interaction, problem definition, proposal generation, including incorporation, leveraging, and management of potential collaborator organizations. The candidate must have a demonstrated ability to innovate, have excellent presentation and communication skills, have experience working with the military space and intelligence communities, and have a recent SBI-level clearance.
